The place for everything you need to know about napa...
Ayia Napa or Agia Napa as it is also
known is an ideal holiday destination for people of all ages, sex, race
and religion, couples, singles, families, disabled, hen nights, stag
parties, wedding parties and even divorce parties :-))
Generally Ayia Napa is clean, well
ordered . Those who do not enjoy noise and bright lights, however, are
advised to stay clear of the central monastery square area, which is
where most of the party people congregate. The main clubbing season is
between June and September, and during this period the resort is full
of young people from all over Europe. Older holiday makers may prefer
to enjoy the resort during the off-peak months
(April, May, October and November), the weather is still good, the sea
relatively warm, but the tempo is much quieter.
For the sun worshipper there are
many beaches within Ayia Napa itself, and a few a little bit further
out. These beaches include: Nissi, Sandy Bay, Ayia Napa
These three are all IN Ayia Napa itself.
A walk (or moped trip) up the coast
in either direction you will find the following: Macronissos, Ayia
Thekla Cape Greko and Fig Tree Bay beaches. All of the beaches listed
are sandy beaches (with a few pebbly areas) on the beautiful crystal
blue Mediterranean sea.
The extensive, silvery sandy beaches
along the coast of Ayia Napa are washed with warm waters that provide a
myriad of opportunities for watersports, including water-skiing,
windsurfing, sailing, pedal boats, motor boats, parasailing, scuba
diving and snorkelling. There is also Napa Bungee for those seeking an
adrenaline rush from a crane into the sea far below!
Visitors to Ayia Napa soon learn
that it is essential to plan an afternoon siesta, if they are to make
the most of the sensational nightlife for which the resort has become
world-renowned.
For the clubbers in us all, there
are 100’s of bars and clubs to keep even the most hardened
clubbers going all night. Most bars are open all day with a number of
them supplying food as well as drink. Most other bars open their doors
around 6.30pm and stay open (legally) until 1.30am (weekdays) and
2.30am (weekends). The clubs start to open at 1.00am and close around
4.30am. For those who are still in a state to continue partying there
are 2 clubs which close when the sun comes up!! You can find links to
some of these bars and clubs here!!
Please note the following:
All you need for a good holiday is a swim suit, plenty of sun tan cream, a change of clothes and a glow stick or two!!
Although Ayia Napa is classed a “clubbers paradise”
DO NOT be tempted to bring drugs with you OR ask for drugs whilst you are here!
BE WARNED: ANYONE COULD BE WORKING WITH THE POLICE TO STOP DRUGS
(BARMEN, WAITRESSES, DOORMEN, DJ’S, HOTEL CLEANERS!!)
